To comprehensively evaluate and test software, through all testing cycles contributing to the Product Development objectives of delivering software products of the highest possible quality that satisfy agreed and approved business requirements

| Key Responcibilities |
- Gain thorough understanding of the Business Requirements & Specification relating to the product.
- Review and contribute to functional specifications documentation.
- Assist in providing estimates for testing tasks.
- Develop & maintain test scripts for testing all facets of the product.
- Perform testing including Functional, Regression, Data Integrity, Environment and multi-user testing.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of sample and test data.
- Manage defects including logging new defects, closing off defects fixed and assisting in determining the priority of defects.
- Regular reporting on the progress of each testing task assigned.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Provide 3rd level support for clients. Analysing issues reported by them, determining the cause and providing workarounds and resolutions where possible, in a timely manner Test Script has the same scope as the Final design document
- Test scripts developed comply with existing standards
- When conducting feature testing, all variations between features delivered for testing and the final design document are detected and logged.
- Conduct appropriate analysis on all defects discovered and log as accurately as possible it’s relevance and impact.
- Enough detail should be provided to ensure that the defects can be readily identified by others and any corrections made readily tested.
- All project related documents are appropriately stored.
- Review design documents within an appropriate time frame for any testing/automation issues and user features which have been overlooked or are not clearly defined.
- Be proactive in identifying significant impact to testing procedures both manual and automation of new product features being designed.
- Attend project related meetings so ensuring that you and stakeholders are aware of issues and appropriate action has been taken.
- Provide assistance to Technical Support team by analysing issues reported by them, determining the cause and providing workarounds and resolutions where possible, in a timely manner.

| Qualifications / Experience |
- Degree (or equivalent) qualification, preferably in IT (Mandatory)
- 3+ years as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
- Thorough understanding of the testing methodology including testing techniques (Mandatory)
- Understanding of web technologies (Mandatory)
- Experience in testing web applications (Mandatory)
- Experience with Automated Testing Tools (Mandatory)
- Understand non-functional test issues, such as load & performance, usability, fail over/recovery and security. (Desirable).
- Experience working with Agile projects (Desirable)
- Understanding of Accounting concepts (Desirable)
